Job summary

Green Zebra Restaurant & Bar on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Bar Supervisor to lead our Front of House bar operations, mentor the team and ensure outstanding service in a refined dining setting.

The ideal candidate will bring bar supervision or senior bartending experience, strong knowledge of coffee and beverages, RSA certification, and leadership with excellent communication and organisational skills. Evening and weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bar Supervisor or Senior Bartender in a busy hospitality venue.
• Barista and bartender experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of coffee, cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Current RSA certificate (essential).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience with POS and hospitality systems is highly regarded.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Full Australian Working Rights (no sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily bar operations and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages.
• Lead, train, and support the bar team to maintain service standards.
• Manage stock, ordering, stocktakes, and minimise wastage.
• Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, and workplace health & safety requirements.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Work closely with the management and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service.
