Job summary

St Albans Hospitality on Brisbane’s James Street is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead from the front and own daily bar operations across our premium venues. You’ll drive service standards, coach a high-performing team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Join our group of renowned venues including Hellenika, SK Steak & Oyster, Sushi Room and Sunshine, bringing strong cocktail, wine and beverage expertise to elevate every guest interaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager or senior bar professional in premium/high-volume settings.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine and spirits.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and guest experiences.
• Proven leadership and ability to coach and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• RSA certification is current.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing bar team.
• Deliver polished, attentive guest service.
• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure smooth service.
• Maintain presentation and service standards.
• Manage stock, ordering, and inventory; monitor costs.
• Support rostering and labour management.
• Ensure RSA and WHS procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with Venue leadership and Restaurant Manager.
