Job summary

Quincy Hotel Melbourne is seeking a Bar Attendant to deliver friendly, attentive service and help create the energetic atmosphere the brand is known for.

You will prepare and serve beverages, take orders, maintain a clean bar, and work with the Food & Beverage team in a fast-paced environment, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous bar, restaurant or hospitality experience.
• RSA certificate (Victorian) required.
• Friendly, confident and guest-focused approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Flexible to work across a roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Cocktail and beverage knowledge is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Deliver warm, engaging and efficient service.
• Take orders and confidently recommend drinks and menu items.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar.
• Support the wider Food & Beverage team during busy service periods.
• Follow responsible service of alcohol and food safety and WHS requirements.
• Create memorable experiences that keep guests coming back.

About the role

As a Bar Attendant, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience, delivering friendly, attentive service and helping create the energetic atmosphere Quincy is known for.

• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Delivering warm, engaging and efficient service
• Taking orders and confidently recommending drinks and menu items
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar
• Supporting the wider Food & Beverage team during busy service periods
• Following responsible service of alcohol, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements
• Creating memorable experiences that keep our guests coming back

What we’re looking for

• Previous bar, restaurant or hospitality experience
• A current VictorianResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
• A friendly, confident and guest-focused approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Flexibility to work across a hospitality roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, where required
• Cocktail and beverage knowledge is highly regarded
