Job summary

Westpac Bank in Albury, NSW invites an experienced Bank Manager to lead our frontline banking team and exceed local customer expectations. You’ll hold accountability for financial, risk and operations while driving community-focused success.

You’ll recruit, coach and empower a diverse team across sales and service, delivering a superior banking experience and achieving branch performance targets. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm.

Rare opportunity for a seasoned Leader in Banking to drive the success of Westpac’s Albury, NSW Branch!

What’s the role?

As a Bank Manager, you'll be the head and heart of a frontline banking team that loves to exceed the expectations of local customers, whilst playing a hands-on role in a community you’re proud to call your own.

Inspiring a team of customer service, sales and business specialists, you’ll set the standard for the Westpac Group experience – and it'll be an exceptional experience at that! You’ll be the driving force behind your branch’s success – holding financial, risk and operational accountability – ensuring customer advocacy is at the heart of all you and your team do.You will recruit, coach and elevate your team to deliver a superior banking experience, ultimately contributing to the branch's, and our customers’, success.

This is a full-time, branch-based role and the hours are across and inclusive of Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.

What will I need?

• Strong leadership experience, ideally gained in a Retail Banking environment (preferred, not essential)
• Proven experience of holding accountability for risk and compliance, staff performance and customer experience
• High-energy, with an ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
• Experience of working to fulfil business performance targets and spur growth
• Ability to effectively de-escalateand address challenging situations by using strong communication and problem-solvingskills
