Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a Bank Advanced Practitioner in Ultrasound/Sonography to perform ultrasound examinations, report findings, and contribute to service improvement under the Clinical Lead for Imaging.

• Perform ultrasound examinations as designated by the Clinical Lead for Imaging.
• Work unsupervised, organise and prioritise workload, liaise with clinics and wards to optimise service.
• Maintain high standards in Gynaecological, Obstetric and general ultrasonography.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team work and act as independent practitioner with full accountability for reports.
• Communicate scan findings to patients and clinicians, advising on future management when requested.
• Address the patient's health and wellbeing; modify techniques as needed to obtain diagnostic information.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

BANK Advanced Practitioner - Ultrasound/Sonographer

Performance of ultrasound examinations ad designated by the Clinical Lead for Imaging. Work efficiently without supervision, organising and prioritising work, and liaising with clinics and wards to optimise service. Maintain high working standards in Gynaecological, Obstetric and general ultrasonography. Participate in multidisciplinary team working Act as independent practitioners with full accountability for all actions, with the issuing of ultrasound reports. To communicate scan findings to patient's and clinicians, providing advice on future management when requested. To address the patient's health and wellbeing. This includes modification of techniques, involving the manipulation of patients and equipment, to obtain diagnostic information. To maintain accurate documentation, including production of relevant graphical representation pertinent to the examination, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times. £49,387 - £56,515 per annum pro rata. RRP is also offered for this role.
