Environmental Resources Management is seeking an experienced BAM-accredited ecologist to join the Newcastle/Sydney Ecology team as Managing Consultant. You will lead biodiversity impact assessments for high-profile renewables, resources, government and planning projects, guiding a team of ecologists across Australia and collaborating with regulators, clients and communities.

You will oversee field surveys, offset strategy development and the preparation of Biodiversity Development Assessment

Qualifications

• 5+ years environmental consulting experience.
• Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) accreditation.
• Experience in biodiversity assessments and development reports.

• Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) accreditation
• A proven track record in environmental consulting
• Expertise in undertaking biodiversity assessments, preparing Biodiversity Development Assessment Reports, planning and executing field surveys, and preparing management plans and offset strategies.
• Strong understanding of federal and NSW environmental regulations.
• Advanced skills in flora identification, GIS, and biodiversity offsets (highly regarded).
• Leadership experience and a collaborative mindset.
