Bakers Delight is seeking an Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of bakeries, working closely with franchise partners to lift commercial performance and profitability.

The role combines office planning with regular travel to bakeries, offering autonomy and meaningful impact on an established Australian brand. You’ll drive growth plans, support openings and changes while maintaining a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Commercial leadership and strategic thinking to drive profitability.
• Strong people leadership with stakeholder management across franchise network.
• Experience interpreting P&L statements and performance metrics in retail/franchise settings.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial performance of a portfolio of Bakers Delight bakeries.
• Build relationships with franchise partners and drive profitability and growth.
• Navigate complex situations with stakeholder engagement and practical solutions.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve business performance and operating profits.
• Collaborate with National Support Office on initiatives to uplift franchisee performance and customer experience.
• Spend time in bakeries to stay connected with ground realities.
