Job summary

LaManna is seeking a Department Assistant to support the Bakery, Dairy, Freezer and Meals teams in a fast-paced store environment. You will help keep displays fresh and inviting, assist teammates on the floor and deliver friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include stock rotation, replenishment, quality checks and food safety compliance, plus creating attractive, well-stocked displays that drive sales. You’ll jump in during busy periods to keep the department flowing.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail, fresh food or supermarket environment.
• Knowledge of food handling and stock rotation (perishables).
• Clear communication and ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solving and hands-on approach.
• Strong attention to presentation and detail.

Your Role |

As a Department Assistant, you'll be a key support to the Department and play an important part in the day-to-day success of the BDFM team.

You'll help keep the department running smoothly, support your teammates on the floor, and ensure our displays are fresh, full and inviting - all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and working closely with people.
