Job description

Responsibilities

• Checks cake order stand for special orders.
• Pulls stock from freezer or cooler to fill merchandising area.
• De - pans, garnishes and packages baked cheesecakes,seasonal pies and fruit tarts. Places finished product on racks and transfer racks to cooler, freezer or wrapping area.
• Checks production schedule for daily needs. Processes all cakes following assembly instruction in Cake Decorating Manual.
• Assists with other bakery duties as needed.
• Provides prompt and courteous member service.
• Keeps decorating area clean and clear of debris. Follows safety and security procedures.
• Follows SSOP guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position.
• Completes and complies with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety certification and all safety training required by warehouse and department.

Non-Essential Functions and Task

• Assists with front end duties as necessary.
• Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: High School Certificate or Higher
• Licenses/Certifications: Food safety preferred.
• Experience: Cake decorating or comparable experience.
• Rotating roster which will include weekend work and starts from 5am or finishing as late as 11pm.
