Strikeforce is seeking a proactive B2B Field Sales Representative to represent Origin Energy in Sydney. You will own a defined territory, visit local businesses, and build a pipeline through direct face-to-face engagement.

A base salary plus uncapped commission offers strong earning potential with weekend-free hours and a supportive team culture. Role is full-time and field-based, requiring a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

B2B Field Sales Representatives | Origin Energy | Sydney

Retail Safari, part of Strikeforce, is looking for confident and motivated Business Sales Representatives to represent Origin Energy and connect face-to-face with local businesses.
This is a genuine new-business field sales role. You’ll own an allocated territory, meet small business owners and decision-makers, create your own opportunities and build a pipeline through proactive face-to-face engagement.

• $79,500 base salary + uncapped commission + super (OTE $99,000 + super)
• Monday – Friday 9:00- 5:30 role only – enjoy your weekends!

About the role:

Reporting to Sales Team Leader, as an Origin Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth across your allocated territory by identifying new opportunities and helping small businesses find the right energy solutions for their needs.

This is a fulltime field based role.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Proactively approaching small businesses within your allocated territory
• Engaging business owners and key decision-makers face-to-face
• Building and managing a sustainable sales pipeline
• Generating new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals
• Presenting Origin's electricity and gas solutions to prospective customers
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Growing Origin's market share within your territory
• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
• Delivering a positive customer experience from initial contact through to sale

About you

We’re looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of winning new business.

You are:

• Confident speaking with people face-to-face
• Enjoy proactive selling rather than waiting for leads
• Motivated by achieving targets and earning commission
• Comfortable working independently in a field environment
• Have strong objection-handling, negotiation and closing skills
• Energetic, proactive, and self-driven
• Organised with strong communication skills

To be successful, you will need:

• A current valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (mandatory)
• Previous sales experience (B2B or direct sales highly regarded)
• Strong objection-handling and relationship-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Don’t have traditional B2B experience?

If you’ve developed strong sales skills through field sales, direct sales, fundraising, automotive sales, telecommunications, retail, hospitality or another target-driven customer-facing environment, we’d still like to hear from you.
