Job summary

Regional Express (Rex) is seeking a passionate Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with B2 Avionics qualifications to maintain our Saab 340 fleet and components in Wagga Wagga, NSW. This full-time role involves hands-on maintenance, regulatory compliance, and contributing to Rex's high safety standards in a heavy maintenance environment.

Flexibility with hours, including a 7-day roster, is required.

Qualifications

• Acceptable Avionics certification/qualification/experience.
• Demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance, modification and troubleshooting per regulatory requirements, under minimal supervision and deadlines.
• Proven ability to work in a close-knit team and also unsupervised to meet deadlines.
• Understanding and willingness to work in line maintenance environments, including heavy maintenance and refurbishment.

B2 LAME – Wagga Wagga

We're seeking a passionate Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with B2 Avionics qualifications to maintain our Saab 340 fleet and components. This is a full-time position based in Wagga Wagga, NSW. If you're driven by aviation, thrive on hands-on technical challenges, and dream of working with a leading regional airline in the heart of Australia, this is your chance to soar with Rex.Our Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAMEs) are responsible for carrying out scheduled andunscheduled maintenance activities on Rex Group’s aircraft and aircraftcomponents within a maintenance team to a high standard andtimely manner. Our Wagga Wagga facility performs heavy maintenance and breakdown rescues across our network.

We require all applicants for the position of an LAME to possess the following:

• Acceptable Avionics certification/qualification/experience
• A demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance,modification and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements,under minimal supervision and to strict deadlines.
• Proven ability to work in a close knit team environment, however, also has the ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
• Understanding and willingness to accept the sometimes harsh work environment of line maintenance
• Willingness to accept the work environment of aircraft heavy maintenance,including component repair and refurbishment maintenance.
• A sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures anddocumentation
• Working knowledge of WH&S procedures
• SAAB 340 experience highly preferred
• Experience on transport category and/or turbo-prop aircraft
• Experience in Airline operations or relevant GA experience
• A valid driver’s licence
• Hold or ability to obtain an airport ASIC security ID and Airside Driver’s License
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• A high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethic
• Flexibility with working hours, with ability to work a 7-day shift roster, as required
