Job summary

AVCAIR Aviation Group seeks a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join the Brisbane-based engineering team at Brisbane Airport, focusing on Challenger 604 and Learjet 60.

You will perform maintenance to CASA, manufacturer, and AVCAIR standards, troubleshoot defects (AOG included), plan maintenance, and collaborate with flight crews, contractors, manufacturers and regulators across domestic and overseas missions.

Qualifications

• CASA Part 66 B1 licence is required.
• Experience on Challenger 604 or Learjet 60 is essential.
• Full Australian working rights; visa sponsorship not available.
• Based in Brisbane or eligible to relocate before start date.
• Willingness to travel overseas and hold a current passport.
• Able to obtain and maintain an ASIC.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and certify maintenance to CASA, manufacturer and AVCAIR standards.
• Troubleshoot and fix defects, including AOG work in Australia and overseas.
• Help plan scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Work closely with flight crew, contractors, manufacturers and the regulator.
• Help meet CASA, quality and WHS obligations and keep tooling, stores and records organized.
• Assist in improving maintenance processes and operations.
