Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer with 15+ years of experience to deliver and support enterprise infrastructure across Azure, hybrid cloud and on‑premises environments.

The role focuses on Azure IaaS and PaaS, networking, identity, backup, DR, monitoring, IaC, CI/CD, and collaboration with security and operations teams, offering opportunities to lead architecture reviews and migrations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience delivering, supporting and improving enterprise infrastructure on Azure, hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS: VMs, storage, app services, networking, identity, backup, DR and platform services.
• Designed, implemented and supported Azure networking (VNets/Subnets/NSGs/Firewall/VPN/ExpressRoute) and hybrid connectivity.
• Expertise with Entra ID and Active Directory incl. RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access and identity governance.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune and hybrid Microsoft environments.
• Led infrastructure projects from design to production and ongoing ops, with IaC and automation.
