Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an ETL Test Lead to drive end-to-end DW testing for an insurance program in Australia. You will lead testing across ETL, data migration, and BI reporting using Azure Synapse and related tools, coordinating with offshore teams and business stakeholders.

You should have hands-on ETL/DWH experience, strong SQL skills, and a solid grasp of Agile processes. The role involves defining test strategies, creating test plans, and ensuring quality across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in ETL and Data Warehouse testing in cloud environments.
• Expertise with Synapse and pipeline log analysis.
• Proficient in SQL, Unix, Oracle and data modelling.
• Familiar with Agile and Jira/Confluence tooling.
• Knowledge of insurance data migration projects (Guidewire/Evolve).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end DW testing for large programs.
• Develop test strategies, plans and scenarios with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain test data and traceability matrices.
• Coordinate offshore teams and defect triage in JIRA.
• Design and implement data warehouse QA automation framework.
• Publish daily status reports and defect metrics.
