About the role

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Specialist to work on a Proof of Concept (PoC) project. This short-term engagement will be focused on the setup, configuration, and automation of an Azure DevOps environment across non-production and production environments. The successful candidate will work closely with the Fujitsu Project Manager to deliver Phase 2 of the PoC.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Install and configure on-premise servers (Windows Server 2019/2022)
  • Perform server patching and OS hardening (remove unwanted applications)
  • Install and configure Azure DevOps Server for non-production
  • Configure source repository and rules
  • Retrieve and analyse .NET 4.5.x code
  • Migrate code and make it available for UAT
  • Support testing and validation

Automated Pipeline Setup

  • Design and implement automated release pipelines for selected applications
  • Develop and test automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Generate reports to support customer resources
  • Deploy and validate pipelines in UAT
  • Implement UAT feedback and deploy to production
  • Participate in security reviews
  • Conduct handover to internal teams

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps Server (on-premise)
  • Proficient in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
  • Experience with .NET (version 4.5.x) source code and migration
  • Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 configuration and hardening
  • Strong scripting and automation skills
  • Experience in enterprise environments with production and DR setups
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with project leads
