Job summary

DataMTX is seeking an experienced Azure Data Factory & Integration Developer for a 6-month contract in Melbourne. You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related Azure services, delivering scalable data integration solutions across multiple projects.

You will work with a cross-functional team, mentor junior developers, and contribute to CI/CD and best practices in cloud data engineering.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure data services.
• Proficient in SQL and C# for data transformations.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory for ETL/ELT processes.
• Implement data integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Event Grid, and Service Bus.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Factory & Integration Developer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension and permanency. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and integration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other Azure services. You’ll work on varied and challenging projects that will help fast-track your career and offer exposure to cutting-edge technologies. We are looking for someone with a passion for data and a drive for continuous improvement.

This role offers exciting opportunities to potentially move into a leadership position, where you’ll have the chance to mentor junior team members and take on team management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory for ETL/ELT processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Azure Data Factory and other Azure data integration services.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and C# for building custom data transformations.
• Experience with cloud-based data integration patterns, ETL/ELT processes, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
