Job summary

Showtime Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and support Azure-based data platforms. You will work on scalable data pipelines, data warehouses/lakehouses, and governance controls to enable reporting and analytics for government and enterprise clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL/Python skills, and hands-on Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and ADLS experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Data Engineering or related role.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, ADLS, Synapse, SQL).
• Experience in data governance, quality, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop Azure-based data platforms and enterprise data solutions.
• Ingest, transform, and deliver data from multiple source systems.
• Implement governance, security, and compliance controls.
• Create reusable data engineering frameworks and runbooks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models.
• Participate in agile delivery within cross-functional teams.
