Job summary

Showtime Consulting is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and support enterprise-scale data platforms in Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate with stakeholders, solution architects, analysts, and developers to deliver trusted data solutions for reporting and decision-making.

You will design and optimise data pipelines, improve data quality, implement governance, and drive best practices across the data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering or related role.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure Data Platform (ADF/Databricks/ADLS/Synapse/SQL).
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning.
• Data governance and security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop Azure-based data platforms and enterprise data solutions.
• Create data integration frameworks ingesting data from multiple sources.
• Implement using ADF, Databricks, ADLS, Synapse, and SQL.
• Model data for reporting and analytics.
• Monitor and optimise data pipelines for performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and agile teams.
