Rabobank’s Technology team in Australia is building a data capability within the Data & Analytics Platform to deliver scalable data pipelines, governance, and security across the enterprise. The Data Engineer will partner with stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions and support a broad Azure data ecosystem including ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Storage and Fabric.

Formación

• 5 years’ experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar cloud-based data engineering role.
• Advanced SQL skills, including data modelling, performance tuning, & database optimisation.
• Demonstrated experience developing solutions using Python, PySpark, or Scala.
• Experience with data quality, validation, monitoring, troubleshooting, & operational support.
• Understanding of data governance, security, privacy, & compliance requirements.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, & Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data issues & improvement opportunities.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities & deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Experience working within Agile & Scrum delivery environments.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality data engineering solutions & project outcomes on time & within scope
• Manage platform operations, lifecycle activities & ongoing support
• Resolve production incidents & service requests in a timely manner
• Ensure data pipelines & loads meet agreed SLAs
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, BI Developers & business stakeholders to deliver data-driven outcomes
