Job summary

Kineticgroup in Australia is seeking a Data Engineer to join our data team in Coomera. This 12-month fixed-term contract starts January 2027 and focuses on building and maintaining enterprise data platforms and warehousing solutions using Azure.

You will work alongside Senior Data Engineers on data pipelines, ETL processes, and data modeling, gaining hands-on experience with large datasets and modern cloud technologies while developing technical skills in a fast-paced transport operator

Qualifications

Experience building ELT/ETL pipelines and working with SQL.
Experience supporting data testing, validation or troubleshooting.
Understanding of data warehousing and database management.
Experience with Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics.
Proficiency in SQL or Python and data engineering tools.
Experience with APIs and system integrations.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain data pipelines and support data warehousing solutions within Microsoft Azure.
Support data ingestion, transformation and system integration processes.
Work with large datasets and implement solutions against established reference designs.
Troubleshoot database, pipeline and platform availability issues.
Maintain technical documentation, including data models, data flows and ETL processes.
Support pipeline scheduling, load balancing and collaborative code development
