Job summary

ADL Group Australia is seeking Azure Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineers to design, build and support Azure infrastructure with Terraform/IaC. The role involves working in a Data, Analytics & AI setting, with exposure to Azure Data Lake/SQL, Databricks and OpenAI/AI Search.

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in Agile environments.
• Ensure robust security, networking and identity controls.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Azure Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineers

• Contract duration: 12 + 12 + 12 months
• Location of work: Canberra/Hybrid, Offsite* (anywhere in Australia)
• Application closing date: Monday, 07 September 2026
• Security Clearance: Must be Australian citizen | Baseline or higher preferred
• Estimated start date: Monday, 19 October 2026

We are looking for Azure Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineers to join an exciting Data, Analytics & AI environment within the Australian Government.

The role focuses on designing, building and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform/IaC, with exposure to platforms such as:

• Azure Data Lake & SQL
• Azure Databricks
• Microsoft Fabric
• Azure OpenAI & AI Search
• Azure networking, identity & security
• Terraform & Azure DevOps CI/CD

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on Azure infrastructure experience
• Proven Terraform/IaC experience
• Good understanding of Azure security, networking and identity
• Experience supporting Data & Analytics, AI or Data Engineering workloads
• Experience working in Agile, multi-disciplinary teams

Desirable

MLOps/LLMOps, traditional data technologies and geospatial platforms.
