Job summary

Aspirante is seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead security architecture across a major digital transformation program within a government environment in Brisbane. You will own security across Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, M365, and data platforms, driving security-by-design and governance to meet strict privacy and compliance standards.

Ideal candidates will have strong Microsoft security architecture expertise, IRAP and ISO 27001 familiarity, and the ability to influence both

Qualifications

• Lead security architecture across large-scale cloud and digital transformation initiatives.
• Provide security architecture expertise across Microsoft Azure, M365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and enterprise data environments.
• Lead threat modelling, security design reviews and technical risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture across large-scale cloud and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop security architecture principles, standards, patterns and reference architectures.
• Provide security architecture expertise across Microsoft Azure, M365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and enterprise data environments.
• Lead threat modelling, security design reviews and technical risk assessments.
• Define security controls covering identity management, privileged access, encryption, monitoring and information protection.
• Support security assurance, accreditation and compliance activities, including IRAP engagements.
• Ensure alignment with Queensland Government security requirements, including IS18 and QGEA.
• Collaborate with technical architects, delivery teams and senior stakeholders to embed security-by-design principles.
