Job summary

Sharp and Carter in Australia is seeking an experienced Security Architect to join a major Queensland Government digital transformation program in Brisbane. You will lead security architecture across cloud, data, and integration platforms, ensuring governance and privacy are embedded in solution design.

Working with Enterprise, Solution and Data/AI Architects, you will deliver security principles, threat modelling, risk assessments and controls across IAM, encryption, monitoring and information

Qualifications

• Experienced Security Architect with senior transformation exposure.
• Experience across enterprise or transformation environments is essential.
• Exposure to Azure, M365, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform security is preferred.
• Knowledge of privacy-by-design and information governance is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture across cloud, digital, data and integration solutions.
• Develop security principles, standards, patterns and reference architectures.
• Lead security design reviews, threat modelling and risk assessments.
• Define controls across IAM, privileged access, encryption, monitoring, auditing and information protection.
• Drive Zero Trust and identity-centric security approaches.

Experience within Queensland Government, regulatory, law enforcement, justice, health or another highly regulated environment would be highly regarded.
