Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is hiring multiple Azure Cloud Engineers for a Federal Government Department focused on the environment. Roles involve designing, implementing, delivering, and supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud solutions in hybrid and cloud-only environments in line with Australian Government Cyber Security requirements.

Responsibilities include configuring identity federation, Privileged Identity Management, access reviews, and incident remediation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure and M365 cloud solutions in large environments.
• Experience developing, automating and managing cloud infrastructure with IaC and DevOps practices.
• Experience implementing cloud security and identity solutions aligned with government security requirements.
• Relevant cloud certifications such as Microsoft/Azure or AWS certifications.

Our client, a Federal Government Department focused on the environment is seeking multiple Azure Colud Engineers to join their team November.

Duties:

• Expertise in designing, implementing, delivering, and supporting M365 solutions for Government or other large organizations in hybrid and cloud only environments in line with Australia Government Cyber Security requirements
• Implement and support Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and privileged access controls
• Configure and maintain identity federation and hybrid identity solutions
• Conduct regular access reviews and certification activities to ensure compliance with security policies
• Investigate identity-related incidents and implement remediation actions

Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure and M365 cloud solutions within large and complex environments, including Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Endpoint Manager and cloud-based identity services
• Demonstrated experience developing, automating and managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation tooling and modern DevOps practices to deliver secure, scalable and resilient cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting cloud security and identity solutions, including authentication services, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), identity governance and compliance with Australian Government security requirements
• Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud certifications.
