Job summary

Experian plc is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support a secure, scalable Azure environment powering mission-critical financial services across Australia and New Zealand. You will implement DevOps practices, develop deployment pipelines, and optimize resource usage while ensuring security and compliance.

The role reports to the Cloud Platform Manager and requires strong Azure experience, IaC, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• At least 7+ years of experience working in Microsoft Azure.
• Desirable: Terraform, Network Security Groups, Entra ID, and Azure Storage.
• Mandatory: Tertiary education in Computer Science/IT or related field.
• Certifications may include Azure Administrator/Developer/DevOps Engineer or CCNA.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain DevOps practices (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop and support cloud solutions including deployment pipelines and PaaS services.
• Assess and apply security standards and vulnerabilities.
• Manage cloud networking configurations including NSGs, VNets, and firewalls.
• Collaborate to improve reliability, consistency, and cost-efficiency across environments.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
