Job summary

King Living Pty is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to own and evolve the Azure platform for our global operation. You will design secure infrastructure, lead end-to-end cloud projects, and embed security across the lifecycle while partnering with business units and senior leadership.

You will manage vendor relationships, optimise cost and performance, and drive compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity standards in a globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, deploying and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure on Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and threat management.
• Proven ability to lead cloud projects end-to-end, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure Azure infrastructure and strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead cloud projects from inception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.
• Manage and optimize the Azure environment for availability, performance and resilience.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policy, monitor incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage cloud services and vendor relationships, negotiate SLAs and evaluate technologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards through regular security assessments and audits.
• Communicate infrastructure and security strategy clearly to senior leadership.
