Job summary

Built is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to help modernise and optimise our Azure platform across a complex enterprise environment. The role supports security, data, AI and application teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

Based in Brisbane or Sydney, you will shape platform direction, automate deployments, and improve performance, security and cost efficiency while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Solid understanding of Azure infrastructure, networking, identity and security services.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines.

The Opportunity

As our Azure Cloud Engineer, you'll play a key role in the ongoing evolution of Built's cloud platform. Working closely with infrastructure, security, data and application teams, you'll help deliver a secure, scalable and modern Azure environment that enables innovation across the business.

This role can be based in either Brisbane or Sydney.

In this role, you will:

What We Are Looking For

We're looking for an experienced cloud engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving platforms and enabling teams to deliver their best work.

You'll bring:

• Strong experience designing, implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• A solid understanding of Azure infrastructure, networking, identity and security services.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines.
• A passion for automation, continuous improvement and modern cloud engineering practices.
• The ability to work independently, take ownership and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple technology disciplines.
• Experience supporting cloud platforms within a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI Foundry will be highly regarded.
