Job summary

LAB3 is a leading Azure engineering practice in Australasia, delivering Cloud, DevOps, Data, IoT, AI, Modern Workplace, Modern Apps & Integration solutions.

The Principal Engineer - Cloud & DevOps will lead end-to-end Azure platform delivery, implement secure, scalable architectures, and drive IaC with Terraform, AKS, and CI/CD across engagements. NV1 clearance is required and Canberra is preferred, but open to other locations in Australia.

Qualifications

• NV1 AGSVA security clearance required.
• Based anywhere in Australia with Canberra preferred.
• Permanent (preferred) or contractor engagement accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Azure platform and automation initiatives.
• Design, document and implement secure, scalable Azure solutions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Provision and manage AKS environments, including Helm chart management.
• Act as trusted technical advisor across multiple engagements.
• Translate complex concepts for senior stakeholders.
• Produce engineering artefacts and governance documents.
• Mentor engineers and help uplift team capability.
