Job summary

Avanade is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect to lead enterprise cloud transformations. You will shape cloud strategy, design secure Azure platforms, and guide engineering teams through execution, aligning with CAF and WAF principles. Strong consulting mindset and delivery excellence are essential for success.

You will partner with clients to drive transformation initiatives, define architectures, and ensure governance, security, and cost optimization across IaaS, PaaS, and cloud-native services.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure architecture & services.
• Proven experience with Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF).
• Azure Landing Zones / Enterprise Scale Architecture experience.
• Expertise in Terraform (IaC) and cloud automation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipelines / GitHub Actions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing experience.
• Experience leading large-scale cloud transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise clients to define cloud strategy, roadmap, and transformation initiatives.
• Architect secure, scalable Azure platforms across IaaS, PaaS, and cloud-native services.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Define enterprise-scale governance models (RBAC, policies) and compliance.
• Drive DevOps adoption and implement IaC with Terraform and automated pipelines.
• Deliver high-quality cloud transformations aligned with CAF and WAF.
