Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Principal/Senior Cloud Architect to lead architecture and hands-on shaping of enterprise-scale cloud solutions across AWS and/or Azure. The role covers infrastructure, platforms, integration, security, and operations with a strong focus on turning strategy into delivery.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and delivery teams to define cloud strategy, create target architectures, and implement roadmaps aligned with business priorities and delivery realities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud, solution architecture, or engineering roles.
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, governance and cost optimization.
• Ability to balance strategic architecture with delivery leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.

Responsibilities
