Job summary

The University of Melbourne is seeking a Data Engineer (Building Platforms) to design, build and own AWS-based data platforms that manage OT telemetry and built-asset data across the campus. Lead end-to-end decisions on architecture, pipelines, models and reporting, translating complex concepts for non-technical colleagues.

• Advanced SQL and Python for robust data models and pipelines.

• Ability to work autonomously and own architectural decisions.
• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable OT telemetry pipelines for Smart Campus.
• Develop data models, pipelines and dashboards for asset condition and maintenance spend.
