NTT DATA in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build and optimise modern cloud data platforms. You will enable analytics and AI initiatives by delivering scalable data pipelines, lakehouse and data warehouse solutions using Microsoft Azure and Fabric technologies.

You will collaborate with architects, analysts and data scientists, apply data quality controls and support automated deployment practices in a permanent role.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing or Cloud Data Platform development.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure data services (Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Synapse, SQL, Databricks).
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake).
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills; Python/PySpark capabilities.
• Experience in Agile delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ELT/ETL processes.
• Build and maintain data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services.
• Develop Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and Data Factory solutions in Microsoft Fabric.
• Implement data integration across cloud and on-prem sources.
• Design and optimize data models for analytics, reporting and AI.
• Develop data transformations using SQL, Spark and Python.
• Implement data quality, governance and security controls.
• Monitor platform performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, data scientists and business stakeholders.
• Support CI/CD and automated deployment practices.
