Job summary

Zone IT Solutions seeks an experienced AWS Architect to design scalable, secure cloud solutions and lead cloud strategy, migration, modernization, and AI/ML initiatives.

You will architect services across compute, storage, databases, networking and security, leveraging Terraform/CloudFormation and the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Collaboration with data scientists to ensure secure, governance-driven AI is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing scalable AWS architectures.
• Proficient in cloud migration, modernization, and strategy.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, and CloudFormation.
• Familiar with AWS Well-Architected Framework and AI/ML integration.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant AWS architectures from requirements.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization and strategy initiatives.
• Select and architect AWS services across compute, storage, databases, networking and security.
• Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework for security and cost.
• Define architecture standards, guidelines and reusable patterns; perform reviews.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate ML models with data governance.
• Architect GenAI solutions with RAG, AI agents and automation workflows.
• Support Agile practices and proactive problem solving.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced AWS Architect to design scalable, secure, highly available cloud solutions and lead cloud strategy, migration, modernization, and AI/ML initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Design scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant AWS architectures and translate business/technical requirements into robust solutions.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and strategy initiatives.
• Select and architect AWS services across compute, storage, databases, networking, and security.
• Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework covering security, reliability, performance, and cost.
• Define architecture standards, guidelines, reusable patterns, and conduct HLD/LLD architecture reviews for enterprise compliance.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on expertise in EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, and CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate ML models, ensuring data security, governance, responsible and ethical AI.
• Architect AI/ML solutions using SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, and related AWS services.
• Design GenAI solutions, including RAG, AI agents, and automation workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and strong problem-solving/debugging skills.
