Job summary

The Hr Ally is seeking an experienced AWS Architect to design, deploy, and optimize scalable cloud solutions in Sydney, NSW. You will translate business needs into robust architecture, lead migration and modernization initiatives, and select appropriate AWS services to meet reliability, security, and cost goals.

You will ensure compliance with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, define reusable patterns, and conduct architecture reviews (HLD/LLD).

Qualifications

• Must have extensive cloud architecture experience on AWS.
• Strong understanding of security, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable, highly available AWS solutions.
• Translate business requirements into cloud architectures.
• Lead cloud strategy, migration and modernization initiatives.
• Select AWS services (compute, storage, database, networking, security).
• Ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework (security, reliability, performance, cost).
• Define architecture standards, guidelines, and reusable patterns.
• Conduct architecture reviews (HLD/LLD) and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate ML models into applications.
• Ensure data security, governance, and ethical AI usage.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API integration.
• Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes preferred).
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, CloudFormation.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Design GenAI-based use cases such as:
• RAG-based solutions
• AI agents / automation workflows
