Job summary

ACESGroup is seeking a Trainer and Assessor to lead aviation security training programs at the Redfern centre with national accreditation. You will deliver a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection and train staff for passenger and cargo screening, in-person, online and hybrid assessments, ensuring learner progression and compliance.

You will work with the RTO team, support course content updates, and help shape training standards from day one at Australia’s major new airport project.

Qualifications

• TAE40116 or willingness to obtain is required.
• AVI20325 – Certificate II in Transport Security Protection or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years’ aviation security experience with strong operational knowledge.
• Proven ability to train, coach and support learners in person and online.
• Current or eligible ASIC.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines with diverse stakeholders.
• Certificate II or III in Security Operations.
• Experience using online LMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess Certificate II in Transport Security Protection programmes.
• Train aviation security personnel for passenger and cargo screening.
• Facilitate in-person, online and hybrid assessments with learner support.
• Track student progression and guide learners.
• Assist with course content updates, compliance and national standards.
• Facilitate onsite training at Redfern and at airports/cargo facilities.
• Participate in professional development, validation and RTO compliance.
