Job summary

ACESGroup is expanding its aviation security team and seeks passionate Aviation Screening Officers to ensure airport safety and security through passenger, baggage, and personnel screening. Rosters include day, night, and weekend shifts across a 24/7 schedule, with permanent and casual positions to suit lifestyle.

You will operate X-ray equipment, maintain SOP compliance, and deliver professional customer service while upholding high security standards.

Qualifications

• NSW Security Licence 1A minimum.
• ASIC preferred.
• Cert II in Transport Security Protection highly regarded.
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• White Card; Fire Warden and Traffic Control.
• Unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence.
• Experience operating X-ray screening systems (preferred).
• Ability to pass police, drug, and alcohol checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct passenger, baggage, and personal screening in line with aviation security regulations.
• Operate X-ray screening equipment and screening technology effectively.
• Identify prohibited items and respond appropriately to security threats.
• Maintain compliance with airport security procedures and SOPs.
• Provide professional customer service while ensuring safety and security standards are met.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate screening documentation.
• Work collaboratively with airport stakeholders, airlines, and law enforcement agencies.

About the Roles

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in aviation screening, aviation security, or airport operations is highly regarded
• Experienced X-ray Operators or applicants with screening qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of aviation security protocols and regulatory compliance
• High level of professionalism, observation skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and follow procedures in fast-paced environments
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
