Job summary

Airservices Australia is seeking a Safety Communications Specialist to lead safety promotion and education initiatives for customers and the aviation sector. You will craft engaging campaigns and educational content, and work with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen aviation safety culture.

The role emphasizes external communications, with a counterpart handling internal safety messaging, and requires collaboration across Safety, Service Delivery and Communications teams.

Qualifications

• Experience developing promotion, education or awareness communications that engage target audiences.
• Strong project organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to engage and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of safety promotion, education and awareness programs for Airservices' customers and the broader aviation sector.
• Design and deliver impactful campaigns, educational initiatives and industry engagement communications.
• Collaborate with Safety, Service Delivery, Customer Engagement and Communications teams and external stakeholders such as CASA.
• Demonstrate flexibility, creativity and a team-oriented approach to drive meaningful change.
