Job summary

Trax is seeking a Product Specialist to join our team in the Sydney, Australia region. This role requires deep aviation domain knowledge and the ability to collaborate with Engineering, QA, and IT to train customers and manage product implementations.

You will work closely with airline customers, document requirements, resolve technical issues, and help deliver Trax software solutions with excellent service. Willingness to travel 50%+ and relocate if needed is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business or related field with 3–5 years of aviation experience.
• Experience with Trax or similar aviation maintenance software.
• Excellent English communication; multilingual preferred.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between airline customers and programming department.
• Identify, research and resolve technical and software problems.
• Track and monitor customer issues for timely resolution.
• Document customer specifications with Development Department.
• Test software modifications and report issues.
• Develop documentation of new program features with Technical Writing.
• Provide customer training on-site or at Trax location.
• On-call service for customer emergencies.
• Manage and coordinate customer projects and oversee implementations.
• Lead customer implementation projects ensuring smooth delivery.
