Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join the MRO Services Capability on the E-7A Wedgetail program at RAAF Base Amberley. You will perform hands-on maintenance, servicing, inspections and fault-finding on aircraft systems, working with the MRO team to ensure mission readiness.

Australian citizenship, Certificate IV in Aeroskills and a current driver’s licence are required; CASA/DASA licences and prior military aircraft experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) required.
• Australian Citizenship to meet Defence security requirements.
• Current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, inspections and fault-finding on aircraft systems.
• Collaborate with MRO team to ensure efficient task completion.
• Ensure compliance with DASR Part 145 MOE regulations and QA procedures.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and support environmental health and safety.
• Engage in ongoing communication with Boeing, customers and industry teams.
