Job summary

Airservices Australia is seeking a full-time HVAC technician based in Sydney to maintain and install critical systems across NSW. You will work from Sydney Airport, performing preventative and corrective maintenance on chilled water systems, cooling towers, air handling units, BMS and split systems, with opportunities to progress into aviation equipment like RADAR and power generation.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and installing HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, cooling towers, air handling units, BMS, and split systems.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work with limited supervision to deliver quality outcomes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and reliability.
• Collaborative approach and ability to build effective working relationships within a technical team.
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement and delivering a high standard of service.
• Interest in developing new skills and expanding into aviation-critical systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Performance of time sensitive preventive and corrective maintenance, and project installation activities in accordance with prescribed processes and procedures.
• Maintaining an awareness and understanding of the impact that work undertaken can have on Airservices systems.
• Timely and accurate data entry into the maintenance management systems.
• Actively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of service delivery and work practices.
