Rural Enterprises Australia Pty offers an autonomous senior farmhand/assistant role in a true owner‑operated mixed cropping setup. You’ll run seeding and harvest machinery, perform routine servicing, and take charge of day‑to‑day logistics while the owners are off‑farm.

Strong communication and practical mechanical skills are valued in a low‑ego, supportive team culture. Based in Dowerin, WA, the position starts January 2027.

Qualifications

• Broadacre farming experience with seeding/harvest machinery and strong machine skills.
• Boom spraying competence or clear pathway to autonomy.
• Practical mechanical aptitude; safety-first mindset; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Run seeding/harvest machinery and daily servicing.
• Operate boom spray.
• Own day‑to‑day logistics and coordination.
• Support/guide seasonal staff during peak periods.
• Keep owners informed and execute to plan.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Occasional truck driving at seeding/harvest (HR/HC).
