Job summary

Skillinvest is recruiting an Apprenticeship Consultant to manage a regional caseload of apprentices and trainees, building strong partnerships with local employers in Ballarat or Horsham. You will have autonomy to manage your own portfolio, engaging regularly with apprentices, trainees and businesses to drive meaningful local outcomes.

Qualifications

Has experience building and maintaining employer relationships.
Experience recruiting, supervising and mentoring apprentices is preferred.
Understands employer and workforce needs and can align them with opportunities.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
Able to work independently, stay organised and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong employer relationships.
Manage and source apprentice/trainee placements with host employers.
Conduct workplace visits and provide mentoring and support.
Complete inductions, safety checks and compliance tasks.
Handle employment and administrative requirements for placements.
