Job summary

Macquarie University Hospital seeks a Polysomnographic Technician to join our sleep diagnostics team. You will perform comprehensive sleep studies, including setup, data acquisition and real-time analysis, largely autonomously under supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

You will apply 12+ months of experience to deliver high-quality diagnostic data, participate in mentoring Polysomnographic Trainees, and contribute to the growth of our sleep unit service within Australia’s first

Qualifications

• 12+ months continuous sleep unit experience.
• Competence in polysomnographic testing and analysis.
• Ability to supervise polysomnographic Trainees.
• Strong patient safety focus and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform sleep studies, setup, data acquisition and real-time analysis.
• Work largely autonomously under supervision of Lead Technologist.
• Mentor and supervise Polysomnographic Trainees.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and high-quality data.
