Job summary

ACT Health's North Canberra Hospital in Bruce is seeking a Physiotherapist to join the Emergency Department as a Primary Contact Physiotherapist. This role offers autonomy, collaboration with medical, nursing and allied health colleagues and a focus on high-quality patient care across acute inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will provide advanced musculoskeletal assessment and management, exercise-based treatment and clinical decision making, while supervising junior staff and contributing

Qualifications

• Three years of physiotherapy experience or more.
• Strong musculoskeletal assessment and management skills.
• Excellent communication in multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to person-centered care and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced musculoskeletal assessment and management in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health colleagues to ensure timely patient care.
