Job summary

Programmed is seeking a reliable Yardperson for an automotive operation in Minto, NSW. This casual role suits someone who enjoys outdoor work, stays safety-focused, and takes pride in presentation and accuracy.

The position offers an immediate start with Monday–Friday shifts 8:00am–4:00pm and a pay rate of $34.79 per hour. You will move, wash, and prep vehicles, use CPOD devices, and work in a busy yard where attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• To be successful in this role you will have a current and valid driver’s licence (manual and automatic).
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A good level of physical fitness and ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Previous yard, vehicle movement, or automotive experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Parking and manoeuvring vehicles in tight spaces.
• Driving and relocating vehicles throughout the yard.
• Washing and preparing vehicles to required standards.
• Operating CPOD handheld devices to complete daily tasks.
• Safely navigating narrow spaces between parked vehicles.
• Ensuring vehicles are presented cleanly and parked correctly.
• Working in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Walking up to 25,000 steps per shift.
