Job summary

Quick Release (QR_) is expanding in Australia and seeks an Automotive Validation Engineer based in Melbourne. You will perform vehicle testing and validate electrical features across development programs, using diagnostic tools and scripting to support test automation.

Ideal candidates have an Electrical Engineering degree and up to three years in automotive testing, with strong analytical and communication skills to report findings and support engineering teams in ensuring features perform as

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant automotive qualification.
Graduate-level to 3 years in automotive testing/validation.
Knowledge of electrical feature validation and vehicle testing methods.
Experience with vehicle diagnostics and root cause analysis.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle testing and electrical feature validation across automotive development programs.
Conduct breadboard testing and support test automation through scripting.
Identify faults, troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
Use vehicle diagnostic tools and validation equipment to investigate system performance.
Document test results, prepare technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Support engineering teams in validating vehicle systems and ensuring features perform as expected.
