Job summary

Pedders Suspension & Brakes Cockburn is seeking an enthusiastic 2IC to join a growing team. You will coordinate the day-to-day workshop operations, manage the store in managements absence, and drive sales while delivering great customer service.

Ideal candidates will have automotive parts knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to maintain high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. The role is full time at our Jandakot premises with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts knowledge and experience in a workshop environment.
• Ability to develop business relationships and drive sales.
• Experience in leading or managing people and fostering a positive culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day technical operations of the store workshop and trade activity to ensure customer satisfaction and targets are met.
• Provide support to management and cover store in their absence.
• Plan and coordinate parts supply and delivery to the workshop workflow.
• Monitor the quality of work performed in the workshop.
• Handle customer enquiries face-to-face and by phone, including bookings and quotes.

We are looking for an enthusiastic 2IC who has a proven ability to develop business relationships, drive sales, and lead and motivate a small team. In this role you will coordinate the day-to-day technical operations of the store workshop and trade activity to ensure customer satisfaction and to meet the store targets. Some of your duties will include;

Provide support to Management and manage the store in their absence.

Support the management of the daily workshop schedule and maintain an on-time customer delivery.

Plan and coordinate parts supply and delivery to the workshop workflow.

Monitor the quality of work performed in the workshop.

Deal with customers face to face and on the phone. Booking and quoting work.

This is a full time role based at our Jandakot premises.
