Red Migration in NSW is seeking an experienced Automotive Spray Painter to deliver high-quality refinishing for a busy repair workshop. The role requires expertise in preparation, masking, sanding and painting across a range of vehicles, from minor repairs to restorations.

You will apply Glasurit systems, match colours precisely, and ensure surfaces meet quality standards. Sponsorship is available for suitable overseas applicants, with a supportive team in a professional workshop.

Qualifications

• Qualified Automotive Spray Painter with hands-on experience in vehicle refinishing.
• Proven ability to handle small to large repairs and color matching.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Positive, professional attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Able to work effectively in a busy workshop environment.
• Sponsorship available for suitable overseas applicants.

Responsibilities

• Assess surfaces and determine preparation requirements.
• Prepare panels and vehicle surfaces for refinishing.
• Carry out sanding, masking, priming and preparation.
• Mix and apply automotive paint and clear coats.
• Complete small and large paint repairs.
• Achieve accurate colour matching and consistent finishes.
• Use Glasurit paint products and systems.
• Inspect completed work for defects and imperfections.
• Rectify finishing issues where required.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and equipment.
• Work closely with the wider repair team.
