UWin Cars in Woodridge, Brisbane, is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant for used vehicles. You will manage the sales journey from inquiry to delivery, with a commission-based reward and ongoing support from a Sales Manager and specialist teams.

Ideal candidates have automotive or related vehicle sales experience, a proven track record of meeting targets, and strong communication and negotiation skills. A Queensland motor salesperson registration or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sales is preferred, especially used-vehicle sales.
• Salespeople from related vehicle industries (e.g., motorcycles) are welcome.

Step into an established dealership with a fresh new premises

An internal promotion into our Sales Manager position has created an opportunity for a motivated Used Vehicle Sales Consultant to join the UWin Cars team.

We have recently moved into our new premises in Woodridge and are looking for someone who enjoys selling, follows up consistently and knows how to create a stand out buying experience for our customers.

Automotive sales experience is strongly preferred, although we are also interested in proven salespeople from closely related vehicle industries, including motorcycle sales.

We've recently moved into our new Woodridge premises, with a diverse range of highly desirable, late-model vehicles supported by our dedicated mechanical, detailing, administration and finance teams.

About the role

You will manage customers through the sales journey, from their first enquiry through to vehicle delivery and post-sale follow-up.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding promptly to online, telephone and walk-in enquiries

• Understanding each customer’s needs and matching them with suitable vehicles

• Presenting vehicle features and facilitating test drives

• Managing leads, appointments and follow-up through our lead-management system

• Negotiating and progressing sales through to handover

• Building relationships that support referrals and repeat business

• Working closely with our Sales Manager and the finance, administration, workshop and detailing teams

• Contributing to individual and team sales targets

About you

You will ideally bring:

• Previous automotive sales experience, with used-vehicle experience highly regarded

• Alternatively, a successful background in motorcycle or another relevant vehicle-sales environment

• A demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and follow up opportunities consistently

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

• A customer-focused approach without losing sight of commercial outcomes

• Reliable work habits and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• An interest in vehicles and a willingness to keep building your product knowledge

• A current Australian manual driver licence

• Current Queensland motor salesperson registration, or the eligibility and willingness to obtain it before commencing used-vehicle sales duties
