Job summary

Andrews Collision Auto Repairs is seeking a skilled Panel Beater for our Ingleburn NSW workshop. The role focuses on inspecting damage, removing and reshaping panels, welding, and restoring structural integrity to return vehicles to their original condition.

Ideal candidates will have an apprenticeship or formal panel beating qualification, proven experience, and proficiency with panel beating tools, hydraulics, and welding equipment. A valid licence and RSA may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of apprenticeship or formal panel beating qualification.
• Proven experience as a Panel Beater in automotive repair.
• Advanced proficiency with panel beating tools, hydraulic systems and welding equipment.
• Knowledge of vehicle structural repair and restoration.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to test-drive vehicles.
• RSA certification or equivalent where applicable.
• Experience with modern vehicle materials and repair techniques is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage to determine repair requirements and estimate timelines.
• Remove damaged panels and components using appropriate tools.
• Reshape and repair panels using panel beating tools and hydraulic systems.
• Weld panels and components to restore structural integrity.
• Prepare repaired panels for painting by sanding, filling and priming.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety standards, quality specifications and customer expectations.
• Maintain a safe and organised workshop and adhere to health and safety protocols.
• Communicate repair progress with supervisors, colleagues and customers.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
